From experience, I want to be careful about putting together a check list of items to take on a campout. This list should not be used as a be all and end all list. Depending on the time of year, weather conditions, activities at the campout, location of the camp items should be added, removed or substituted accordingly.

The source of the list is from Troop 30, Arizona and is biased towards car camping. Each year the troop sponsors a Webelos/Scout retention camp, Dilligas, and the "What To Bring" page provides attendees suggestions they should pack and what should be left at home.
