Having talked about the food pyramid have some fun by preparing and cooking different foods. Here are three suggestions that the boys could use when they cross over to Boy Scouts |

GORP - Good Ole Raisins and Peanuts |
|
This is good a snack during or after school, or when backpacking. This is a very basic recipre. Try experimenting with different ingredients such as M&Ms, banana chip, dried appricots, cheerios. |

- Unsalted peanuts - 1 cup
- Raisins - 1 cup
|

Directions |
- Mix peanuts and raisin in a zippy bag.

French Toast |

Directions |
- Break egg into a mixing bowl and whisk.
- Soak bread in egg mixgture.
- Fry bread until golden brown.

Bagel Pizzaz |

Ingredients |
- Bagel
- Tomateo paste

- Grated cheese
|
|
Directions |
- Cut bagel in half.
- Spread tomatoe paste over bagel halves.
- Springkle grated cheese over bagel halves.
- Toast bagels until cheese is melted.
