Unfortunately accidents do happen.
At your meeting and activities have a first aid kit available. Make sure everyone knows its location should it be required.
Make sure Leaders get trained in first aid and that the kit is regularly restocked.

Ok, so meetings and activities don”t always go as planned.
For those times when a Plan B is required, have a Games Box with equipment and rules for games the boys can play.
You could include in it; balls, rope, frisbee, furry dice, cones, bats, paper, pencils, stop watch.
Use your imagination and have fun.

A Scavenger Hunt would provide boys with a fun activity as the Pack is gathering before the Pack meeting. It requires little setup, however I would encourage sufficient adult supervision, a great way to get parents involved.
Give each boy as they arrive a container, e.g. a paper or plastic carrier bag. (Adult supervision). Instruct them [...]
I wasn’t able to post last night as our Troop had its Court of Honor. With nearly 100 boys it takes time and for the first time in several years it overran.
Anyway during that time I was asked by the Cubmaster of my old Pack for help as he wants to build up the [...]
